Brief synopsis: The botanist Paco Lambertini (Reynaldo Gianecchini), heir to a large fortune, falls in love with Preta (played by Taís Araújo of “Xica”), a “specialist in medicinal grass.” Complicating their relationship is Paco’s fiancée, Bárbara (played by Giovanna Antonelli, Giane’s co-star in Laços de Família and Avassaladoras).
After Paco is involved in an accident, he is rescued by Ulisses Sardinha (Leonardo Brício), who thinks that he (Paco) is his brother, Apolo Sardinha (Giane). Paco ends up taking over the deceased Apolo’s identity, and thus finds himself living a new life as a member of a family of jiu-jitsu fighters. (For a more detailed plot synopsis, see the next page.)
